If you're like me you might get tired a lot. Life has a way of keeping us busy and tired beyond our ability to "catch up". A long time ago in America we had a concept in our culture that derived from the teachings of the Bible. It was called the "sabbath" which is an old word that referred to a day of rest designed to let people take time to RELAX from work and Worship God! Over the last few generations the concept of a specific day of rest has largely been ignored. Even our weekends are PACKED full of activities which by themselves are not necessarily bad or evil. But sometimes it might be good to do a "rest" inventory of our lives. Do we actually rest sometime in the week? When you sleep do you feel rested afterward? Are you feeling like there isn't enough time to get things done? Do you think it's wrong to relax and have fun when you're not "officially" working? Perhaps we need to get back to the original plan for man... and rest this weekend.... Here's to a relaxing day off!

I believe too that God wants to restore "sabbath" in this busy generation.. Only in God, we can find peace and rest, but probably hardest thing is to allow ourselves to "rest" and enjoy Him.
May your Sabbath will be a time of blessing from the Holy One!
I'll be working 3 weekends straight without rest... -_-"
and I sleep so lightly that I don't feel rested afterwards... Please pray for me... I need a less busy life...
